The 1 Essential Thing for Getting Rich in Information Marketing

THE GROWING CRISIS IN E-MAIL MARKETING
In 1980, I stopped using bulk mail forever. I swore off. Since then, I’ve fallen off the wagon only three times, and been bitch slapped twice for my lapses. Otherwise, I have stuck to my determination to ignore the cost differential and mail everything I mailed first class. Why would I do such a thing? Delivery vs. non-delivery. It’s that simple: when I go to the work of creating a marketing message and sending it, I want it to be up to the recipient whether it gets read or not. I want a chance. Of course, I’m high-priced talent; maybe you don’t care as much about the time you invest in creating a marketing project as I do. But I simply cannot waste my time. And non-delivery of marketing messages is waste of my time.

Note: If you want to do just one thing to automatically and certainly raise your income, place a higher value on your time, and fight like a junkyard dog against any waste of it.

The Successful Info-Preneur’s BELIEF SYSTEMS

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

Almost every information business gets to a point where, for some period of time, maybe a few years, you can coast. One way a lot of IE’s arrive at this point is by stretching the top of the pyramid, as I’ve discussed elsewhere. For example, if the IE adds a $10,000.00 coaching program and adds, say a million dollars of revenue for the year to a business that was only a two million dollar business to start with, he is sorely tempted to take his eye off new customer acquisition. I have seen clients feast for a few years this way, then turn around and suddenly realize the bottom of the pyramid is empty, there’s no one left to ascend. Of course, there are some of these businesses that do not operate on the pyramid model, and in those cases, there are different concerns. Or this can be part of an exit strategy. But the majority still have the pyramid and must therefore feed it.
